Feasibility study for weighbridges

A feasibility study for weighing trucks carrying palm bunches.
The challenge
In the oil palm sector, growers are paid on the weight of the bunches delivered. A well-sized, well-placed weighbridge makes that weighing reliable and verifiable.
How the assignment unfolded
In Adiaké, palm fruit bunches arrive by the truckload, and their weighing must be reliable for producers and buyers to agree on quantities. ZAKEF SCOOPS was considering installing weighbridges and asked us whether the project was feasible and under what conditions. Over five months, we carried out the necessary field investigations, then defined the components of the weighing project. The feasibility study delivered to the client gives it the basis to decide and to launch the equipment.
