Studies, consulting & project management
Informing decisions and structuring projects.
Diagnostics, mapping, sector studies and business plans; manuals, specifications and monitoring and evaluation.

What we do
Before launching, funding or reorganising a project, you need to know where you are starting from and where you are going. We carry out the analysis in the field, with the stakeholders involved, then turn the findings into useful documents: baseline assessment, action plan, business plan, procedures manual, monitoring tools. Our studies have served the Cotton and Cashew Council, IFDC and 2SCALE and the World Bank-funded PDC2V project.
- 01
Diagnostics, mapping and sector studies
A diagnostic shows what works, what is holding things back and why. We collect data on site, meet the stakeholders of a value chain or an organisation, then map who does what, where and with whom. The study ends with quantified findings and practical options, as for IFDC and 2SCALE in the rice value chain.
- 02
Business plans
A business plan turns a project idea into figures: the target market, investments, costs, expected revenue and the financing plan. We build it with the project owner, from their actual needs, so that it serves both to convince a funder and to run the business day to day.
- 03
Drafting of manuals and specifications
A manual sets out the right way of doing things, so that everyone applies the same method. A specification describes precisely what is expected of a service provider or a piece of equipment. We draft these documents with the teams who will use them, as for the Cotton and Cashew Council.
- 04
Monitoring and evaluation
A programme must be able to show what it has actually achieved. We define the indicators to track, set up the data collection tools, then measure progress and gaps over time. We provide it notably for the Cotton, Cashew and Shea Council.
- 05
Needs analysis and stakeholder consultation to build tailored action plans
An action plan only holds if those who must apply it believe in it. We start by listening: interviews, workshops, field visits. We then build the plan with the stakeholders, step by step, so that it matches their means and their priorities.
