What we do
A result only lasts if teams can do the work themselves. We design tailored training courses from the organisation’s actual needs, and run them with exercises drawn from its daily work. We train executives, managers, field staff, cooperatives and relay trainers: for example, 163 community promoters with GIZ.
Module 1
Management, leadership and governance
Leading a team, making decisions and reporting: practical tools for managers and governing bodies.
Leading a team, making decisions, running a board of directors or a general assembly: these can be learned. We train managers in management tools and the rules of good governance, with practical cases adapted to their organisation.
Module 2
Entrepreneurship, business and cooperative management
Keeping the books, running the organisation and growing the business, as with the groups supported for GIZ / CAZ.
Keeping accounts, managing stock, drawing up a budget, running a cooperative: these are the basics that make a business last. We train entrepreneurs, managers and cooperative members in these management skills, as for the SOGB women’s group.
Module 3
Quality, food safety and sector techniques
Good hygiene practices, HACCP and trade skills, applied at the workstation.
We train teams in the requirements of their trade: quality standards such as ISO 9001, hygiene and food safety, pest control, farming practices. Each course starts from the actual practices on site and ends with what needs to change in practice.
Module 4
Capacity building and team support
Training trainers and community promoters, then supporting them in the field until they are self-reliant.
A one-off course is not always enough. We follow teams over time, train in-house trainers or community promoters, and come back to check that the new practices are actually applied.
